Background
We strongly believe that in the 21st century students can highly contribute to reduce greenhouse gas emitted into the atmosphere and global warming by developing a wider awareness for their environment and in order to promote positive environmental behaviour. Global warming has a profound impact on mankind.In order to halt the global warming we should take action and look for alternative energy sources.We use the term "Green School Project" to stimulate schools ,from around the world ,to become environmentally sensitive, energy efficient, and protecting the health of their students."The book of Genesis deals with the relationship between Man and his Creator, and emphasizes that the Creator instructed the first man "to till it" - to develop the land and the environment in which he has been placed - but also "to tend it" - not to over exploit it. In an unequivocal manner, the Creator warns Man that he will be responsible for his deeds, i.e. negative action - negative result, "for if you spoil it, there is no one to repair it after you". In modern terms we could say that the Creator instructed his creatures to develop the world subject to Sustainable Development ; to develop the environment by natural resources, while preserving them and preventing their destruction." Objectives
Our " Green School Project " is a communicative based project which, aims at creating greener and healthier learning environments through educational experience by collaborating between students from around the globe. Our goal is to promote environmental awareness of ecological sustainability among students from around the world .
We should strive to offset CO2 emissions to defend against global warming.Together we can make a friendlier environment
for the next generation.
